Alchemy Hawkes Bay Chardonnay 2013 (sc) Fruity aroma with an appealing mealy infusion. Citrus infuses the fleshy stonefruit and butter caramel flavours of this soft creamy wine.

It has a lovely smoky savoury backbone and a spicy brightness to the finish. An easy pleaser. 14% alc. NZIWS Gold Medal Tasting 9Sep2014. Light gold. Butterscotch and stonefruit fill the bouquet and the super smooth taste is like liquid caramel creams (think Werther’s Originals).

A spicy brightness joins toasty oak and fleshy stonefruit flavours and there’s a touch of citrus on the long, lifted finish. A new vintage with a new winemaker, the skills of Ant McKenzie were employed for this dangerously drinkable wine. 14% alc.
